Redesign the Shop Category UI
At the moment, the above image is the way that the shop category UI is designed. This sort of layout gets in the way of the actual shop when you have the menu open, and it extends seemingly indefinitely, even beyond the actual end of the page, which is a bit inconvenient to work with :(
For this reason, I propose redesigning the UI to look something more like this. Having an actual menu that that extends with the number of options just makes a lot more sense, and it’s a lot prettier to look at too! I’m not entirely sure why this isn’t the case already, but I’d strongly recommend it xD

Adding to the shop categories UI discussion:
If you look at the shop menu categories in Inspect, you can see that the box is absolutely positioned. If you take away that positioning, its real position is located in the top left of the screen, far away from the button that reveals it.
This is bad because:
The button and the menu should be in the same place within the document structure so that they clearly relate to each other.
The use of absolute positioning causes problems upon changing the size of the window, because how it fits in with the flow of the rest of the content changes. Sometimes it overlaps the shop header. Other times, it leaves a gap between the shop header and menu.
I also recommend that categories should be on the left of the screen rather than the right, as this makes for a more logical flow - users reading in English do so from left to right, and logically, will want to select shop categories first before looking at items.

This is actually already a possibilty (and a thing on several sites already) if the site leader wants the option they just need to contact Cessair!

I’m not sure why it isn’t the default option but it’s good to know it’s already possible!
