One-time purchase to showcase coded Profiles and Backstories pages
I think it could be interesting to have a new option to make a one-time purchase (similarly to aging up, changing house or blood status, etc) to give us the ability to showcase coded Profiles and Backstories (and be able to edit them of course) without having to purchase and continuously renew VIP. Having the option allows for users to still have available all their hard work when coding a PT/BS after their VIP runs out, and encourages more upcoming effort to keep them up-to-date as time goes, without feeling disheartened about all the time and commitment put into them being “hidden” until the user can/decide to purchase vip again for that to be one of the perks.

History lesson, for those who weren’t aware: originally, your coded PT/BS stayed coded after VIP ran out so long as you didn’t go in to edit it. It was a bug that most users assumed was an intentional part of the feature. In order to update it without losing the coding you paid for new VIP.
This is the way it was for years and years, one of those bugs that just didn’t get fixed. At some point (2017?) they actually fixed the “bug” but it was quickly overturned by site leaders at the time, who realised just how unpopular it’d be to lose part of the main “features” that users actually bought VIP for.
And then a few years ago they fixed the “bug” anyway and now it’s a subscription service :)

While I totally get what you are going for here, and it would be amazing, I also don’t think the high ups would aproove of this as it is often the main reason why people get VIP in the first place and the price therefore would have to be fairly high.
Someone else suggested (don’t remember the name) that the codes would not vanish when VIP ran out (just you could not edit them without them going away) and I think it is more likely for that to be aprooved :)

That last option sounds way more fair tbh. The code isn’t lost, but you have to pay if you want to change anything. I like it.

How much should this cost? I mean, it would be a complete loss if it isn’t a payment worth a status, because you can cause it to be the last time ppl buys vip.

While I agree it should cost way more money than the VIP membership, I think paying the same as an status would be too much. My reference is that, in the WoX I roleplay, nobody ever paid for an status, not even the cheaper ones. I don’t think they will pay that much just for keeping the code tbh.
