New Status Idea: Foreign Education

I don’t have an exact name for it; though I see this occasionally in backstories:

Some writers have their characters previously attend another school like Durmstrang, Ilvermorny, or Beauxbatons, but they can never claim full graduation because of their house they selected at the beginning of their account creation, and they always have to claim to be a transfer.

With this status, Graduates will be able to claim that they spend their entire education at a foreign wizarding school and have benefits when finding a new career.

The main difference is that the house will change on their profile card to either their Ilvermorny house or the magical school they attended to.

Description: With this status, the user will be allowed to claim that their character attended and graduated from another wizarding school.

Benefits: By having this status, it opens up a variety of opportunities for characters to write about their past at another school. It allows for a lot of character development and can really make some people feel quite special.

Please keep in mind, this status would only be for those who attended the entirety of their years at a foreign school. Having a character that had partial tuition at a school is still relevant and not affected by this.

However, they do not have the aesthetic of a changed profile card in chat or the ability to claim that they fully graduated from a foreign school, nor do they get the grad career benefits.

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Year: Graduate

House: Pukwudgie

Unlike other statuses, this one can be stacked on top of any other status, Metamorphmagus, Animagus, Half-Giant, etc, and is considered a passive status, allowing for a maximum of three statuses (species/career, item, and passive).

It does not have its own unique status in bold at the bottom.

Unique School Benefits:

Uagadou:

Adult: Status allows them to skip one year of IG-training in classes that require the Curse-Breaking or Magizoology course

Beauxbatons:

Adult: Status allows them to skip one year of IG-training in classes that require the Wand-Making or Healing course

Durmstrang:

Adult: Status allows them to skip one year of IG-training in classes that require the Dark Arts course

Castelobruxo:

Adult: Status allows them to skip one year of IG-training in classes that require the Advanced Potions or Ministry Interdepartmentals course

Mahoutokoro:

Adult: Status allows them to skip one year of IG-training in classes that require the Magical Sports and Magical Business courses

Ilvermorny:

Adult: Status allows them to skip one year of IG-training in classes that require the Auror or Magical Law course

Koldovstoretz:

Adult: Status allows them to skip one year of IG-training in classes that require the Dragonology or Curse-Breaking course

    There are multiple graduate staff who have graduated from other wizarding schools as listed in their backstory and it’s been fine/accepted. Are you talking about student accounts who have had to claim to transfer to Hogwarts or is this more just to add a visual in their profile, not just their backstory?

      It would be a visual in their profile, and on their profile card in chat (and maybe a special header) and it would also give them a leg up over normal grads in job choices (like not having to do one year). Because I really don’t see why the higher ups would be willing to change school or classes for each adult if they become a teacher or just an adult in general. It would be too much work, and then all the adults would be asking for their profile tags to be changed to the school that they want.
